Plans to demolish the complex -which sits on 7.2 hectares of prime real estate in the middle of downtown Taipei -were met with fierce resistance , and in 2009 ,it officially reopened in its current ,‵creative park ’incarnation . ‵ It’s doesn’t feel like you’re in the city .It’s got the low-density feel of a suburban neighbourhood,’notes architect JM Lin[right],a former design partner in the park’s original management team.
